John Abraham isn't allowing his drive towards the cause of sperm donation to slow down. He has in fact gone beyond the theatrical run of the film and is now also participating in various debates around these topics. Not just that since quite a few fertility clinics and other hospitals have also shown keen interest in tying up with the film to help increase awareness and result in a model that allows 360 degrees participation from all involved.
"Just a week back I shared a common platform with some eminent doctors where we discussed and debated about commercial surrogacy and sperm donation. Also, some of the most notable fertility clinics and hospitals from all over the country are enquiring about how they can get associated with VICKY DONOR. I am happy to see such widespread reactions for the film because that says a lot about their belief in me as a person and a producer who is bringing such a subject in mainstream cinema. Now it is my turn to give something rational and sensible to the society," says John.
While one waits to see how does the society end up gaining from the noble idea that is being brought to screen, there are definite gains in store for first timer Ayushmann Khurrana at least who has pretty much become John's blue eyed boy.
Smiles John, "Well, Ayushmann is a lovely boy and a complete natural. Trust me, he would be a winner after this film. I am going to be so proud of him. In fact let me also declare that I would be really convinced about the sanctity of the awards when Ayushmann ends up sweeping all the awards for the Best Debutant of 2012."
