JISM 2 has released and even though the reviews have been far more flattering, it is now known that the film is not just about Sunny Leone and Randeep Hooda. Instead, the fact is that even Arunoday Singh has enjoyed his biggest role till date in terms of screen time. While that was good enough for Arunoday to grab the offer when it had come his way, what had also turned out to be a key driver in his decision making was the conversation that Mahesh Bhatt had with him.
"In any case I approach most people with a great deal of respect and here I was talking to Mahesh Bhatt who has contributed so much to Indian cinema," he says in awe of the filmmaker, "Not many people really know stuff that film industry is made of like him. For me, just to get narration from him made things a lot easier. I didn't have many questions after that as it turned out to be a really nice and easy decision."
He continues, "Just like it was with Sudhir Mishra where I didn't have to think much about the pros and cons when I signed YEH SAALI ZINDAGI with me, I went ahead with JISM 2 too. After all, they are the ones who are taking a chance on me and it isn't vice versa. Being in their close proximity has only helped me gain better idea about this industry."
He has good words to add about his on-screen partner, Sunny Leone as well.
"When you are constantly interacting with someone 16-18 hours a day on the sets, it is of paramount importance that the person has a good working personality. If this characteristic trait is missing, you want to hit that person regardless of how attractive he or she is. Thankfully, Sunny turned out to be an extremely promising person that made our shooting schedule fly by in a jiffy," smiles Arunoday before signing off.
