Parineeti Chopra: I would love to get into a regular heroine mode

For someone who has been seen in rather casual attire in her first two films (LADIES V/S RICKY BEHL, ISHAQZAADE) and has donned a casual avatar, even Parineeti Chopra's heart pines for a quintessential leading lady part coming her way.
"Of course, who wouldn't want to be seen in a chiffon saree," says Parineeti in an animated tone, "Of course I would love to get into that attire. After all, that's something you do want when you are working so closely with the production house that knows different ways of presenting their leading ladies."
Though audience too would love to see the new look Parineeti in films to follow, there are few who wonder if she could really fit into a conventional rom-com genre. After all, in both her films she has played a girl of today who knows what she wants in life and doesn't mind speaking out her mind. To be now presented in a new avatar altogether could be pretty much a challenge not just for the makers but also her.
"Well, I am up for that," smiles Parineeti, "I would love to get into a regular heroine mode and reach out to the masses. See, I love masala films and as an audience, I like my dose of commercial cinema. If you ask me about my favourite films, the ones that would top the list are 'masala' entertainers. I am quite open to such films and would do what audiences like to watch. What's the fun in doing films that people are not watching? I would rather do something for which there is good demand."
For that Parineeti, we would wait to see what you sign next.
