The film was to release with 35 prints in Pakistan on Eid and, as per trade analysts, could have made a business of Rs 10 crore in the country.
The film was initially declared anti-Pakistan film, for which the concerned authorities banned the screening of the film. Later the film received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for a special screening for the members of the Pakistan Censor Board.
Pertinently, EK THA TIGER, which was released in India on Aug 15, made a business of Rs. 32 crore on the opening day itself.
The film starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the leads is based on the activities of Indian and Pakistan spy agencies -RAW and ISI.
