With close to 50 crores in its kitty, KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM is now seeing an end of its theatrical run. With a 'hit' tag firmly place on it, this has turned out to be yet another good money spinner for Ekta Kapoor. Meanwhile leading man Tusshar Kapoor is happy with the kind of distance that KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN HUM has managed to cover for itself. In the process it has also managed to wipe away the disappointment of CHAAR DIN KI CHANDNI, his solo release of the year, which didn't do well at the box office.
"Initially of course I was disappointed", agrees Tusshar, "However soon after the release of CHAAR DIN KI CHANDNI, we started the shooting of SHOOTOUT AT WADALA. That got me busy and since the film by itself is so interesting, I didn't have time to think about anything else. Soon after that the promo of KYAA SUPER... was launched and the kind of feedback that started coming for it and that was enough to make me happy. Somehow there were newer things and fresh projects that brought in good energy due to which CHAAR DIN KI CHANDNI disappointment was diluted."
Moreover, being in the industry for over a decade, Tusshar acknowledges that he can deal with successes and failures in a much more stable way.
"After so many hits and flops, I just tell myself this is going to be an ongoing cycle. There would be fresh disappointments and then some very good things that would happen immediately after. This is all part of the game and I try my best to move on. Yes, at times it is very difficult but then the best thing out is to get yourself busy with more and more work; that really aids in you to forget what has happened and look into the future."
With a major release in the form of SHOOTOUT AT WADALA next year and a couple of more projects in the anvil, Tusshar indeed has a lot to look forward to in future.
