Not many are aware that Jimmy Shergill was bed ridden for almost six months last year due to an issue with his spine and neck. It took him quite some time to recuperate and even while shooting for SAHEB, BIWI AUR GANGSTER 2, he was in immense pain.
"Yes, the problem aggravated a year ago and even as I was shooting for my films, there were regular tests that I was going through. This is the reason why I took a break and only did DANGEROUS ISHHQ in the interim period. Thankfully all tests have shown that I am recovering well. I have started working out and even shooting for SPECIAL CHABBIS. I have been much more active this year," he says.
He had to be conscious though, especially while shooting for SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER 2 since the entire crew was stationed in Gujarat for 50 straight days without any break whatsoever.
"We shot at Devgarh Baria, the same palace where we had filmed the first part," informs Jimmy, "There was no way we could have gone to and fro and it was the need of the situation to stay there and finish the shoot. I had to make sure that I wasn't stressed much and since our rooms were quite close to where the film was being shot, I could afford to take some good rest. I should be back to shooting for SPECIAL CHABBIS and my other Punjabi films soon. I guess being busy should allow me to forget all those little pains as well which disturb me on and off."
