While Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi and Vivek Oberoi along with director Anand Kumar have their own reasons to see the release of ZILLA GHAZIABAD, a film which is quite close to their heart, one actress who is keeping her fingers crossed is Geeta Basra. Reason being that it would be after a hiatus that the gorgeous young woman would be making her big screen comeback with the song 'Ghaziabad Ki Rani Hoon Main', first glimpse of which would be out soon.
Informs an insider, 'Featuring as many as 500 dancers and extras in the background, 'Ghaziabad Ki Rani Hoon Main' also features Vivek Oberoi and Arshad Warsi along with Paresh Rawal even as Geeta takes centre-stage.'
Though it is still early days before the song's look is revealed, Geeta insists that this was a stop gap arrangement as she isn't looking at a permanent title of 'item girl' coming to her.
"If I had to do only item numbers to make a living, I could have opted for that year ago. When I stayed away from them for so long, why would that be my career path now? I have always been an actor and that is the profession I wish to continue,'' Geeta makes a definitive statement.
There was that 'something special' factor about the song that made her go for it.
"Anything routine is definitely out, more so because I have my eyes set on enhancing my acting career further more than anything else. However, the song was a killer and I had to do it. I may pick up another one but only if it is as terrific as this one,'' says Geeta before signing off.
