Sajid and Sabbir set the stage for Tiger!

Tiger Shroff is gearing up for kick-starting shoot of his debut flick HEROPANTI in a few weeks from now. While the youngster is going through rounds of extensive training, workshops and rehearsals, one man who is managing it all in the background is Sabbir Khan. While the second time director has been given complete accountability of ensuring that HEROPANTI does that to Tiger what Rakesh Roshan did to Hrithik Roshan in KAHO NAA PYAAR HAI, there is also a lot of trust that producer Sajid Nadiadwala has placed on him.
SAJID NADIADWALA and SABBIR KHAN
"He first encouraged him to helm one of the biggest films made in its time like KAMBAKKHT ISHQ and made sure that superstars like Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor were roped in. Now when it comes to the launch of Tiger Shroff, on whom all eyes are set, more since the film would arrive 30 years after Jackie Shroff's HERO, he truly believes that Sabbir has it in him to deliver goods. Although he has worked with some top directors in the past and is now gearing up to begin working with established directors like Imtiaz Ali, he is making sure that all resources are made available to Sabbir,'' informs a source. Sabbir too believes that the stage is set for him to get going.
"See, Sajid bhai and I have a very different equation,'' says Sabbir, "I have worked with him as an assistant and both of us were responsible for collaborating on almost every aspect of the many films made under the company starting with MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI. We clicked from day one since we think alike and are extremely passionate about cinema. I have immense respect for him and always look at him as family rather than a producer and to his credit he has always made me feel like family too. He is someone who goaded me to become a director and gave me my first break."
