Imitiaz connects Alia and Randeep through HIGHWAY!

Imitiaz Ali, who has given splendid romantic hits like JAB WE MET, LOVE AAJ KAL & ROCKSTAR, is back with his new directorial venture HIGHWAY, as per the latest reports. And what is interesting is the starcast of this film. The newbie Ali Bhatt, who earned accolades for her performance in Karan Johar's STUDENT OF THE YEAR (SOTY), is paired opposite hot and talented actor Randeep Hooda, who impressed us in JISM 2 lately.

It is being said that the film is a love story of two extremely opposite people. It will be exciting to watch the young and chirpy Alia romancing Randeep Hooda.

A month back news were rife that Imitiaz was very keen on casting Ranbir and Deepika for a film, but due to Ranbir's busy schedule, who's is currently shooting for two back-to-back films, Abhinav Singh Kashyap's BESHARAM and Anurag Kashyap's BOMBAY VELVET, Imitiaz decided to move ahead and start his other project HIGHWAY.

The film is jointly produced by Imitiaz Ali and Sajid Nadiawala.
