Asha Bhosle's MAI first look unveiled in Parliament

The first look of the legendry singer Asha Bhosale's debut film was launch on the occasion of 'Happy Women's Day' Celebrations' at Balayogi Auditorium, Parliament of India in the presence of elite audience, Chief Justice of India Ranjana Desai and Krishna Teerth - Union Cabinet Minister and women Empowerment Minister along with Asha Bhosle.
On this occasion, Ashaji emotionally spoke of her tough childhood, the sacrifices of her mother in bringing up her and her Sisters (Now legendary personalities). She also spoke on the tragedy that hit her two months ago and how she overcame it and how this is the first and last time she is acting in a film, as its only Singing that she wants to do further.
The audience comprised of ministers and elite families of Delhi and all had to go through 4 layers of heavy Security.
Ashaji and Savitri Jindal- mother of MP & steel tycoon Naveen Jindal were honoured for being Woman Achievers.
The film MAI is produced by Subhash Dawar & Nitin Shankar. The Film is being presented by ChandraKumar Jajodia & Vishveshvara ventures (Mahaveer S Jain & Vijayta V Gandhi).
Mahaveer S Jain & Vijayta V Gandhi were present on stage at the time of unveiling and are proud to be associated with a film on the sensitive topic of a mother-daughter relationship.
The film is directed by Mahesh Kodiyal and will release on 1st February, 2013 worldwide.
