Delhi gang-rape: Aamir demands separate fast-track courts

Condemning the Delhi gang rape incident, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan emphasized on the need of women empowerment to act as a tool for country's progress.

"In the 2-3 years journey of my show 'Satyamev Jayate', I have learnt two things...one is that until we empower women and girls, our country will not progress," Khan said.

"Severe punishments should be awarded to the guilty in these cases. Separate fast-track courts should be formed for speedy justice people should come to know that we can't get away with our crimes," the actor said.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old victim is still not out of danger and battling for her life.
