Ameesha Patel is on a roll. After signing David Dhawan and Priyadarshan to direct a film each for her production house, she has also upped the ante when it comes to her other acting assignments. With biggies like BHAIYYAJI SUPERHIT, RACE 2 and SHORTCUT ROMEO already in the making, she would possibly be staring at five of her films releasing this year. Now, that's astonishing because it has been five years since HONEYMOON TRAVELS PVT. LTD (2007), her last film in which she was seen in the silver screen.
"There has been so much goodwill that I have earned in the industry during last 10 years. I am making films now and I couldn't have settled for anything but the best. While David Dhawan's film would be an out and out masala comedy, Priyadarshan's film would be a comedy with elements of drama in it as well. Of course there would be good emphasis on making these films look good and also include some great music too," says Ameesha. CHECK OUT: Sanjay didn't misbehave, says Ameesha
With two films coming from her production house apart from her acting ventures, Ameesha is busier than ever. "Yes, it is going to be busy days ahead since I would be acting in both my productions as well. Also in our production house we have a clear vision that we would give directors whatever they need in terms of creative support and production; there won't be any compromises. We won't be following trends, we would be creating them."
She goes on to add in an animated tone, "The only way from here would be up, up and up. I have got a new lease of life and I am going to make the most out of it. I am a fighter and am here to stay. My production house would give everyone a run for their money. However there would be healthy competition without any politics or playing dirty."
