Director Mahesh Bhatt is always in the limelight and very actively involved with the Bhatt banner. However he always takes time off to interact with the fourth estate and puts across his thoughts in a very straight forward manner, without beating around the bush.
At a recent meet with the acclaimed director when he asked as to why a director of his caliber who has made such hard hitting and intellectual gratifying films like ARTH, SARAANSH, NAAM etc is involved with films like JISM and MURDER, Mahesh Bhatt replied, "I am still capable of making films like ARTH and SARAANSH, but please bring an audience/viewers for such films. These were made in the eighties, when there was audience for such kind of films. These films give awards but no rewards in terms of business they generate and one cannot make films just for creative satisfaction or simply critical acclaim. That is why we have to make films like MURDER or JISM because they make money and the paying audience wants to see such films." CHECK OUT: Mahesh Bhatt and RGV fight over Sunny Leone
