Zayed Khan has done quite a few adrenalin pumping action films in his near-decade long career so far. While some of the most notable have been BLUE, CASH and DUS, he is now looking at taking things further with TEZZ, which is touted to be one of the biggest action films churned out of Bollywood.
Says Zayed, "I think what is being shot for TEZZ is poles apart from what we have seen in the biggest of action flicks coming out of Bollywood. Based on the portions that I have shot for, I can comfortably say that the action here is far grittier and grungier."
Since for director Priyadarshan too this is a new genre, he is upgrading himself with the new technology. "Every time he is shooting an action scene, he is totally into it," informs a source, "He is constantly fiddling around with equipments and assets on the sets. He is particularly fascinated with the cameras that are allowing him to capture things from different angles." CHECK OUT: Zayed turns early riser for Priyadarshan's TEZZ
Shot mainly in London, TEZZ is said to be a remake of Japanese film SHINKANSEN DAIBAKUHA (1975) [BULLET TRAIN in English] and involves high octane action on a speeding train. With a terrorism angle thrown in, TEZZ is a big budgeted affair that also stars Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Mohanlal, Kangana Ranaut, Sameera Reddy and Boman Irani.
Adds Zayed who has worked with Priyan for the first time, "Coming from Sir, I know for sure that TEZZ would be a fresh take on action for all involved. I have worked in action films like BLUE, DUS and CASH in the past but this one is indeed different."
Hope you really mean it Zayed. Kya karein, everyone says that!
