All the movie buffs and ardent fans need not be upset as the Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt starrer AGNEEPATH, which was reportedly embroiled in the copyright issue and restrained from release with the much talked about song 'Oh Saiyya', will get to watch the movie as scheduled for release and that too without the song being removed.
The spokesperson of the film released an official statement regarding the same. "Our film AGNEEPATH is releasing as scheduled for January 26, 2012 without any cuts or deletes. The ex-parte injunction that had been granted by District Court, Nagpur has been vacated. We continue to maintain that there is nothing in the film AGNEEPATH which infringes copyright or any other right of any other person."
Karan Johar's AGNEEPATH landed in the tussle when a Nagpur-based artist, Aditya Salankar moved to district and sessions court in Nagpur regarding the song. According to him, the song 'Oh Saiyya' was a copy of a song composed by him.
