She has been winning awards and accolades left, right and centre. However, the biggest award Vidya Balan will like to take home and keep it forever is Milan Luthria, the director of THE DIRTY PICTURE. But can she do it? And will Milan Luthria's architect wife let her do it? And where does it leave that 'special guy' in her life?
An ecstatic, gorgeous, and glowing Vidya Balan was answering the questions of the media on the occasion of the launch of the DVD of THE DIRTY PICTURE at a Reliance Digital Store in a Mumbai suburb. It looked like a harmless repartee of an ebullient Vidya but the media is bound to discover deeper connotations in it. After all, whatever Silk did or said had a dual meaning and purpose behind it.
The DVD and the Blue Ray disc of the film are being marketed by Shemaroo entertainment. Among those present were the film's producer Ekta Kapoor, actor Tusshar Kapoor, director Milan Luthria, director of Shemaroo Entertainment Hiren Gada, and the CEO of Balaji Telefilms Tanuj Garg. When asked about his next Balaji film with Vidya Balan, Luthria said that it was a top secret and when the time comes he would let the world know about it.
Shemaroo has bought the DVD rights of THE DIRTY PICTURE for an undisclosed sum. One of the leading 'content houses' of India Shemaroo had also hit gold with Vidya Balan and Naseeruddin Shah starrer ISHQIYA as its co-producer and hopes to get lucky once again according to its director Hiren Gada.
