By the look of things, it is quite apparent that there is a lot more action in BOL BACHCHAN, especially when compared to the original GOLMAAL (with Amol Palekar). One wonders though whether Rohit Shetty had intent to create situations where a lot of action could be included in the script or was it all organic.
''Well, the action is not there just because I want action in my films,'' smiles Rohit, ''It is there because it adds on to the narrative. There are four hardcore action sequences in the film. On seeing BOL BACHCHAN, you would realise why there is so much action and less of GOLMAAL. The reason why I am not talking much about the core content of BOL BACHCHAN is because it may cause unnecessary confusion and negativity.''
With Ajay Devgn in the lead, one does positive vibes though since he and Rohit have formed a formidable team over the years.
''When you work with Ajay, you have to give him different shades. After all we do so many films together that there has to be something different for both of us. This time around we planned the characteristic traits of Ajay and had a ball bringing it on screen. His loud act should do well with the masses,'' he says.
On the other hand Asin seems to have gone much quieter when the fact remains that she had gone loud mouthed in her comic superhits like HOUSEFULL 2 and READY. ''Asin is not doing the comedy part in BOL BACHCHAN though. Her character is much subtle in the film,'' confirms Rohit.
However we do hear that Abhishek Bachchan is quite a riot in the film. Of course we would know for sure once the film releases all over tomorrow.
