There have been several speculations on who would be the leading lady opposite Imran Khan in Punit Malhotra's next directorial venture. However, Dharma Productions have put the speculations to an end by signing Kareena Kapoor as the leading lady of the film.

"Producer Karan Johar, Kareena and director Punit Malhotra met at the Dharma productions office at Khar recently, where they went through a lengthy discussion. After the discussion Kareena was finally convinced about the role and is now a part of the venture," said an official spokesperson.

This is the second time Kareena and Imran will come together on screen under the Dharma banner. The first time the two came together was for the movie EK MAIN AUR EKK TU.
