Madhur Bhandarkar's HEROINE is making headlines since the day the film was announced. Now, the latest is that since HEROINE has got an 'A' certificate from the Censor Board, the makers have cut three trailers of the film.
Says a source, "There will be three different trailers for the audience. The first one, with 'A' certificate will be launched and available online. The second one will be for the theatre and TV with the 'U/A' certificate. The third trailer specifically for UK will be released for people aged above 12 years."
Further adds the source, "For the U/A trailer, cigarettes will be blurred, love-making scenes will be cut down and offensive words will either be beeped out or replaced. The Censor Board thought the trailer was very bold and not appropriate for TV viewing."
Kareena Kapoor, who will be seen playing the central protagonist, has shed all her inhibitions for the role and pushed the envelope when it comes to playing her character on screen. So much so that, the actor, who hates smoking will also be seen smoking a cigarette and mouthing expletives.
Also starring Arjun Rampal, HEROINE is all set for a September 21 release.
