Richa Chaddha is on a roll. Even though rumours are floating around her being the chosen one for playing the second lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's RAM LEELA, the feisty girl is keeping mum. While she is basking in the success of GANGS OF WASSEYPUR - 1 and is already gearing up for the release of film's second part, Richa is also game for quintessential Bollywood heroine 'naachgaana' mode and have some fun.

"Well, I never stayed away from Bollywood or said that I was not interested in mainstream movies. In fact there were three to four projects that I was supposed to start after OYE LUCKY! LUCKY OYE! but they couldn't materialize due to certain reasons. However, I do feel that had I done all these films, I wouldn't have been in such a strong position as I am today. I am sure I would have got typecast, so as things stand today, all of it did work out in the end," says Richa.

CHECK OUT: Richa Chadda would return as a 55 year old in GANGS OF WASSEYPUR - Part 2

She is gearing up for TAMANCHEY though which she described as a 'hardcore commercial film'.

"There is dance, romance, drama and everything else that you look forward to in a quintessential Bollywood affair. I am ready to take on all of that," she smiles, "See, GANGS OF WASSEYPUR has given me confidence to carry a film on my shoulders. I want to be an actor who can give audience different flavours in each and every outing so that they can enjoy my presence on screen instead of getting bored and accusing me of being repetitive."

You are right Richa, as long as you do deliver as you promise!
