James Cameron is a legend and now Shirish Kunder is ready to pay the filmmaker his homage. Just like AVATAR which had created a language of his own, even JOKER would see the birth of a new language.
"AVATAR was about aliens and for that Cameron had invented the language 'Na Vi'. Now JOKER, which again has aliens holding centre stage, also sees a new language which has been named 'Gaalaguzi'," informs our source.

However the twist in the tale is that the language won't be spoken by aliens but instead by Shreyas Talpade who plays an inhabitant of the imaginary village Paglapur.
"This is shown as an ancient language of the village and other than Shirish only a few other villagers can understand it. This is nowhere close to Hindi and both Shreyas and Shirish sat down to draft it. On a day to day basis they improvised it as well," the source continues.
It has to be seen whether Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and aliens also understand and speak in this language. However quiz Shirish and he says this is neither a gimmick nor does it try to introduce something just because it had worked in AVATAR.
"There is a definite reason why another language was needed in JOKER," he says, "It is inherent to the film's screenplay and fits in well into the plot. The kind of words and other lingo that you would hear here are totally new as well as perfectly relevant."
We would wish to opine on that once the film releases all over on 31st August.
