"Exactly! Personally speaking, we found ourselves at the same point as the one at which we had left KYAA KOOL HAIN HUM. Even after so many years, we didn't have any communication gap. There is this terrific friendly vibe that we share and perhaps it has also to do with the fact that we are both similar in nature. Also, we share a similar sense of humour. Our conversations and gossip also revolve around the same thing, which leads to a good camaraderie," says Tusshar.
With such a good rapport being built between the two actors, one wonders how the two never shared screen space in all these years. While Tusshar gained great appreciation for his GOLMAAL series and Riteish is a regular fixture in the HOUSEFULL and DHAMAAL franchises, it is rather surprising that not many filmmakers thought of bringing the two actors (with such excellent comic timing) together.
"It is just a coincidence that we didn't work together. Otherwise there were proposals for sure after KYAA KOOL HAIN HUM but there were some films that I didn't like and some that he didn't," adds Riteish, "In a way I feel that was good because now we are in a two-hero film. Otherwise you never know, we may have been roped in together but for a three-four hero film!"
Tusshar goes on to conclude, "Now that KYA KOOL is turning into a franchise, we have managed to save our pairing for the best."
