When released, Sunny Deol-Irrfan Khan starrer RIGHT YAAA WRONG had turned out to be a faux pas of sorts. Even though it was a very well made film by director Neeraj Pathak and produced by none less than Subhash Ghai, it had failed at the box office. What was most disheartening was the fact that critics had unanimously hailed the film and even the segment of audience that had watched it had appreciated it. However poor publicity had resulted its downfall.
Obviously Neeraj doesn't want the same mistakes to be repeat, now that his film is finding some good buzz coming its way.
''I personally feel that there were three factors that were more wrong than right for RIGHT YAA WRONG,' Neeraj brings on a smile here, 'First thing is that we had released the film on the opening day of the IPL. Secondly, Sunny was shooting for YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA in Punjab and hence he couldn't afford to leave the film mid-way and promote RIGHT YAAA WRONG instead. Thirdly, and most importantly, we couldn't do the kind of promotion that we wanted.''
''Later when people started watching the film in trials, everyone including Subhash Ghai felt that this film had the potential to be placed in a big way. Unfortunately by that time it was too late,'' he adds.
However things are all set to be much controlled this time around, now that Ghai has committed to back BHAIYAAJI SUPERHIT as well and is putting together his infrastructure and machinery to make the film special. With good support coming from his actors too and Sunny-Arshad chemistry expected to entice audience; this action comedy is finding itself on a good ground.
