He chose not to fret much about it but the fact of the matter is that Emraan Hashmi has been keeping terribly unwell for over a month now. Exhausted, dusted and bogged down by his various film and promotional schedules, the actor is braving his illness to face the camera for EK THI DAAYAN. Moreover crazy shooting schedules and overlap of quite a few assignments further took a toll on the actor.
"It has been like this for over a year now. First it was MURDER 2 and then there was shooting of SHANGHAI. Meanwhile he was also required for the promotion of THE DIRTY PICTURE," a source adds, "Once that got out of his way late last year, he started non-stop shooting of JANNAT 2 followed by RAAZ 3. He has never been through such set-hopping on a continuous note. Thankfully he didn't have to travel abroad but constant change of cities ended up taking a toll on him as a result of which he caught the infection."
It was during late May when Emraan realised that he couldn't carry on this way for long. Though he was available for the promotional campaign of SHANGHAI, he had to excuse himself from IIFA. In fact soon after the film's release on Friday, he immediately started shooting for EK THI DAAYAN the very next day since the combination date of other actors had been worked out and he didn't want to change their plans.
"That's true, but now he plans to take some rest," adds a friend of the actor, "Once this current schedule of EK THI DAAYAN is through, he would take a break. It is hardly sustainable to be working non-stop like this."
