Rohit Shetty's comedy starring Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Asin, Prachi Desai, Krushna Abhishek, and Amitabh Bachchan in a special appearance has got the nod to go ahead with its release from the Central Board of Film Certification (Film Censor Board) with a UA rating. It is all set to hit the screens on July 6th, 2012, as scheduled. However, the film trade seems to be worried about JISM 2 and the Board's attitude towards the film. The film is scheduled for release on 3rd August 2012, and there is a buzz that the Board intends to scrutinise the film with great care before certifying it and this may lead to a delay in its release
BOL BACHCHAN JISM 2
The Mahesh Bhatt camp has a long history of conflicts with the Board over its films. JISM 2 has already become controversial because Sunny Leone, an Indo-Canadian actress and porn star who was first seen on Indian TV as a Big Boss participant, plays the female lead in the film. The Censor Board reportedly has not taken kindly to the news that the producers are promoting JISM 2 using cheap tricks like auctioning of lingerie worn by Leone in the film. She had earlier complained about it to the producers since it was done without her knowledge. Her other recent comments implying that the film is ghost directed by Mahesh Bhatt have been vociferously denied by Vishesh Films.
