Aditi Rao Hydari's dream to be seen as a solo lead in a quintessential Bollywood film has finally come true with LONDON PARIS NEW YORK. However the fact remains that majority of people who saw her in films like DELHI 6, YEH SAALI ZINDAGI and ROCKSTAR felt that she could carry an entire film on her shoulders instead of playing a second fiddle. One wonders whether Aditi was way too relaxed in her endeavour when she continued doing supporting roles in last few years.
"See, I also have a set of principles that I can't do away with," smiles Aditi, "This is the reason why I don't regret what I have done so far and I don't feel bad either about missing out on the leading part so far. I have had a good and happy journey so far and am looking forward to the bigger parts that are coming my way." CHECK OUT: Aditi Rao Hydari- Ali and I don't want any negativity
Though she doesn't quite get into the details of her 'principles', she does add that never once did she feel frustrated, especially when her role in ROCKSTAR didn't quite come across as well on screen as it was expected to.
She says after a brief pause, "Yes, lead parts are what I always wanted to do. After all, you want to play the complete part which is replete with songs, dances and the stuff alike. Par theek hai, maine jinke saath bhi kaam kiya, achcha kaam kiya. Log bhi achche they, roles bhi achche. Ab jo aage hoga, woh bhi achcha hi hoga!"
No wonder, with an attitude like this, the pretty young woman is already winning hearts.
