Big B lends voice to animated MAHABHARAT

Actor Amitabh Bachchan is not only known for his exceptional acting prowess but also for his baritone voice. Amitabh has previously recorded the voiceover for the Oscar nominated film LAGAAN and more recently he even sung the song 'Ekla Chalo Re' for the Vidya Balan starrer KAHAANI. Now, according to reports, Big B has lent his voice for Bheeshma Pitamah's character for the upcoming animated film MAHABHARAT.


Produced by PEN India, the film will include voices by 15 major Bollywood stars. Amongst the disclosed names are Amitabh Bachchan and Sunny Deol.

Reportedly, Big B did the entire recording within one hour and moreover, the actor did it for free of cost. Producer Jayantilal Gada from PEN India was quoted by a daily praising Big B and his generosity.
