Three weeks remain for the release of HOUSEFULL 2 and its actors are gearing up to be a part of multi- city promotional tour. With a huge campaign planned by Sajid Nadiadwala and Sajid Khan, 'the dirty dozen' of HOUSEFULL 2 is well prepared for the grueling schedule ahead.
Says Riteish who plays one of the four 'Jollys' in the film, "Now that HOUSEFULL 2 promotion has kick-started, you would see a much bigger campaign since the film requires that."
He is obviously making this reference in comparison to TERE NAAL LOVE HO GAYA that had made a relatively quieter entry. Still, many have wondered though if a much more aggressive promotional campaign could have further elevated the fortunes of the film. The film which fortunately found acceptance from the audience could possibly have garnered an even better opening had there been much more on-your-face publicity. "One should understand that every film has to be publicised according to its standing. You can't over publicise your film; you have to do it as per its budget so that its recovery becomes easier. In fact this is what has helped TERE NAAL LOVE HO GAYA as well since its budget has been a major advantage," reasons Riteish.
Now that he is juggling between small (TERE NAAL LOVE HO GAYA) and big (HOUSEFULL 2) budgeted films, there is also a medium budgeted KYAA SUPER KOOL HAI HUM reaching the finishing line soon.
"Yes, the film's shooting is on and we would be arriving on 3rd August. Meanwhile I am now trying to figure out what next to do. I am listening to a couple of scripts and there should be an announcement soon," concludes Riteish.
