After making his Bollywood debut in DUM MAARO DUM, Rana Daggubati is on a fast track now. While, he's gearing up for his first national solo release with Ram Gopal Varma's DEPARTMENT, Rana has also gone ahead and signed his next Hollywood film A MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON.

It is a post-recession Los Angeles story of a young Indian businessman's descent into revenge-hell as he takes on the city's ruling crime-family, abetted by an ex-LAPD mentor with his own dark agenda.

''It is a fantastic opportunity for a young actor like me to be part of Aditya's international project,'' Rana Daggubati said. ''The movie is inspired by Aditya's path-breaking film RAAKH (1988) which brought Aamir Khan, DOP Santosh Sivan, editor Sreekar Prasad, composer Ranjit Barot, Pankaj Kapur and many others into the limelight,'' he further added.

CHECK OUT: Did Rana really replace Abhishek in DEPARTMENT?

Directed by Aditya Bhattacharya in association with Guru Films Hyderabad, the film is produced by Asif Noor, Aditya Bhattacharya and Sunita Tati. A MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON will include an impressive A-list Hollywood cast, and is primarily targeted at US and global audiences.
