Akshay: Sajid made me meet a crocodile with a toothache

In HOUSEFULL, Akshay Kumar had got into a war of sorts with a monkey, tiger and a parrot. Now for the film's sequel he seems to be far nicer to the animal kingdom. For starters, there is an elaborate sequence featuring him and an alligator where, believe it or not, he would be curing the animal of its tooth ache.
"It is a hilarious sequence that has been designed for the kids. Time and again one has seen alligators being the most feared animals in Hindi films. They are known to invoke hatred and either kill human beings or get killed by them. However in HOUSEFULL 2 it would be a different setting altogether as an alligator is instead being taken care of, what with Akshay as well as Riteish Deshmukh helping it get rid of tooth ache," informs a source attached to the film.
ON THE SETS OF HOUSEFULL 2
Apparently Sajid Khan had an impromptu idea about including this sequence in the film and Akshay as well as Riteish were game for it. Of course what also helped them nod in agreement was the fact that this alligator wasn't going to be a real one. With producer Sajid Nadiadwala more than happy to accommodate the sequence and assigning a VFX team to do the needful, the ball was now in the court of Sajid Khan, Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh to make it as funny as it gets. Confirms Akshay Kumar, "After making me slap a thieving monkey in a park (a sequence in HOUSEFULL), Sajid made me meet a crocodile with a toothache in HOUSEFULL 2. The sequence has turned out to be a riot."
While the idea itself sounds unbelievable, it is pretty much possible in the world created by Sajid Khan. One does wonder whether the sequence in particular and film as a whole has a similar zany fun quotient as evidenced in HOUSEFULL or has it gone further notches higher. After all one still remembers the parrot, tiger and monkey episodes from HOUSEFULL.
"That's something that audience has to answer," smiles Akshay, "I am too shy about my work to answer this. We are all following Sajid blindly at the moment. If he is saying it has gone far beyond HOUSEFULL, we have to believe him."
