While the entire nation awaits for Aamir Khan's debut TV show Satyamev Jayate, STAR India's show about people of India and their lives, there are still some villages in the nation which will not be able to avail the telecast of the show due to lack of infrastructure and unavailability of TV sets.

STAR India has identified many such villages where only a fraction of the total population has television sets. A special screening of the first episode of the show will be held at many of these villages at a centrally located place or a town hall. Most of the villages have a population of less than 5000 and this is probably the first time that they will get to experience the Power of Television.
Ms. Gayatri Yadav, EVP- Marketing & Communications, STAR India, said, "This is an important and relevant show for all of India and Star India is going all out to make sure that this show reaches out to all Indians even in places with limited or no TV connectivity. The show is about the people of India and it's imperative it reaches every Indian."
Amongst the various villages Bhingara and Kahupatta in Maharashtra, Jhunkar in Madhya Pradesh, Khannapurwa, Lalpur Sarauta and Maaniram in UP and many more. In order to make sure that the show reaches all over the country it is not only being telecast in multiple languages and channels but also be simultaneously telecast on Doordarshan - a first such of its kind initiative.
