Another star kid is gearing up to embark his journey in Bollywood. Arjun Kapoor, son of Boney Kapoor and nephew of Anil Kapoor, who has become the talk of the town, is all set to make his big debut with upcoming film ISHAQZAADE produced under YRF banner.
Coming from an illustrious family, who served the film industry for ages; it is quite believed that for Arjun everything must have been a cakewalk. However, as per Arjun nothing comes easy and one has to prove his stance. 'No matter how big connection you have eventually you have to go and do things on your own. Just because my father is a filmmaker doesn't mean I will be good at it... Theory always seem easy than practical but when you get onto it you realize the difference. One has to prove one's stance.
A horde of star kids took to Bollywood to make their mark, ask Arjun if taking up films was to join the rat race and he says, 'My family never thought I'll get into movies. It was very strange decision for them. They thought I will pursue studies further. But being a child I was highly fascinated and inclined towards cinema so that became my passion. I am very lucky that my passion became my profession. Very few people get to do that. I wanted to become a part of the cinema in some or other way and I had all the means to learn as my family is a part of it. So I got to observe Anil chachu as an actor and also learn a lot through my father.
Arjun highly admires and looks up to his uncle Anil Kapoor, who has been charming us with his endearing performances from last 30 years. 'When you get to see Anil chachu act you realize how important it is to be disciplined and focused. He has made me learn so much in terms of dedication, the passion which he has even today is worth noticing. He loves his craft ardently. I look upto him for so many different facets that he has mastered. I would arguably say he is the one who has been my source of inspiration, says the loving bhatija, Arjun.
Arjun gets carried away when people compare him with his uncle, Anil Kapoor. However, he would never imitate his uncle and would want to carve his own mark in the vast industry. Says Arjun, 'If people compare me with Anil chachu it's a big compliment for me, it's a big achievement for me. But because he is talented does not mean I am also talented. His stature is big. I would like to carve my own niche. I believe one should try and aspire to be oneself than imitating others.
Also starring Parineeti Chopra in the lead ISHAQZAADE, directed by Habib Faisal, is all set to hit the screens on 11th May 2012.
