Shooting of AJAB GAZABB LOVE is taking place in full swing and while director Sanjay Gadhvi as well as producer Vashu Bhagnani seem to be quite content with the way it is shaping up, one wonders whether film's lead actor Jackky Bhagnani was a tad impatient when it came to the delay in his next outing going on floors. After all, F.A.L.T.U. had worked despite being released on the same weekend when India had won the World Cup finals. Wouldn't the youngster have been better off to have an immediate beginning to his next film when the going was so good?
''Jackky is a good actor and also understands that till the time he doesn't get a good subject, he won't sign a film. He is not impatient and in any case a gap of one year between two films is no big deal. What is important is to make good film,'' says Vashu.
With a firm belief in destiny, Vashu now feels that if the film with Raj Kumar Santoshi (which was supposed to start after F.A.L.T.U.) didn't materialise, it was only for good.
''We wanted to make a good film with Santoshi but when that didn't happen, it was perhaps destined that way. Agar waisa nahi hua to phir usse zyaada achcha hi ho gaya. Now we have a director like Sanjay with us and an extraordinary script in hand as well. The wait is going to be worth it,'' Vashu has the final word here.
A remake of South film SEEMA THAPKAI, AJAB GAZABB LOVE also stars Arjun Rampal and Arshad Warsi and is all set to release on 24th October.
