Sonu Sood: MAXIMUM is my most special film

Sonu Sood is all excited about playing Dawood Ibrahim in Sanjay Gupta's SHOOTOUT AT WADALA. However before the final results are seen on the screen, Sonu Sood is already gearing up to be seen as a tough no-nonsense cop in MAXIMUM where he plays the central protagonist. Ecstatic with the way final results have turned out to be, Sonu is now waiting with bated breath before he goes full throttle in promoting the film.
"MAXIMUM has a class realistic vision that director Kabeer Kaushik is known for. I loved his SEHAR and he was simply superb there. For MAXIMUM he has gone an extra distance to get it perfectly right. You know, he wrote 48 drafts before finalising the script. He has gone all out to make it so right. The film has some superb action and dialogues which are very mass oriented. I can proudly say that out of those 35-40 films which I have done over last one decade, this is my most special film," says Sonu Sood.
With such a terrific ensemble cast that includes Naseeruddin Shah, Vinay Pathak and Mohan Agashe in integral parts, can audience expect some really volatile stuff in the making, especially since Kabir has a knack of coming up with a hard hitting dramatic tale, as evidenced in SEHAR?
"Yes, of course," Sonu is quick to add, "With such good actors around, you get an altogether different high as an actor. After all these are the men who can take some of the basic lines to an altogether different high with their sheer presence. I guess this way I have been quite fortunate to have been exposed to so much talent."
Also starring Neha Dhupia and Anjana Sukhani, MAXIMUM releases all over on 29th June.
