Tannishtha wins best actress for DEKH INDIAN CIRCUS at NY Film Festival

She's made noise for her past performances in films like BRICK LANE, SHADOWS OF TIME and also has been the 1st Indian to be nominated at the BAFTA as well. And now, actress Tannishtha Chatterjee has bagged the best actress award for her film DEKH INDIAN CIRCUS at the New York Film Festival.


The actress has been loved in the movie by critics as they haven't stopped raving about how she has left an indelible impression through her portrayal of the rural woman.

Tannishtha, who will be seen in films like ANNA KARENINA with Jude Law, BMW, GAUR HARI DASTAAN as well as I LOVE NY with Sunny Deol, is quite happy with the response.

Says ecstatic Tannishtha, 'The reactions were heart-warming and winning the best actress award is a great honour. This film has been a lovely experience and I am quite proud of the fact that I am privileged to get the opportunity to be part of such films.
