Ajay Devgn had filed a case with the Competition Commission of India against Yash Raj Films for using their dominance in Bollywood by asking exhibitors to book more number of screens for JAB TAK HAI JAAN. But, the commission has rejected Devgn's complaint as there was no merit in it.
Shocked with CCI's decision, Ajay Devgn Ffilms, which will release SON OF SARDAAR on the same date as of YRF's JAB TAK HAI JAAN, has approached the Appellate Tribunal. ''We are shocked by the rejection of our legitimate case by the CCI. We have approached the Appellate Tribunal against the order,'' says ADF spokesperson.
