1920 - EVIL RETURNS is a clean success, what with the film continuing on a stable note in the second weekend as well after an impressive first week. With this low budget film looking at more than doubling it's investment at the box office and aiming at crossing the 25 crores mark just from theatrical revenue, 1920 EVIL RETURNS is a clean hit.
However its producer Vikram Bhatt is continuing to maintain a low profile and reason behind that is his basic personality that prevents him from going the whole hog in singing praises around his own work.
'Aur kya', says Vikram, "When a film is a hit, it is hit. Isse zyaada kya bolein? Yes, I have been keeping a low profile and that's because there is no point in being bombastic. It is best to invest your time on deciding your next film, pick the actors that suit the roles most and move on."
This is the reason why instead of going ahead full steam in only directing films, he is also making sure that his production house (ASA Production & Enterprises) finds further footing into the industry.
"Yes, this is a good time for us at ASA. We are seeing successful films and our products are finding good acceptance as well. I am sure that now is the time to completely concentrate on the production house and make it as big as we had dreamt. We are also open to co-productions,'' details Vikram.
Next release from his production house would be ANKUR ARORA MURDER CASE while BHAAG JOHNNY, HATE STORY 2 and HAUNTED 2 are some of the other offerings that would be unveiled next year.
