DABANGG 2 promo is out and while one looks forward to the story which is in the offering for this sequel to DABANGG which was a blockbuster no less, there is also ample space created by Arbaaz Khan as far as the music is concerned. The director is gung ho about the compositions that Sajid-Wajid have churned out for the film and even though the promo has just presented the core sound of DABANGG so far that establishes it's mood and theme, there is an avalanche waiting to strike, what with a few item numbers, love songs and the theme track all set to arrive in quick succession.
''There are five songs in the movie and while the music of DABANGG was outstanding, Sajid-Wajid have gone ahead and churned out something even better; I genuinely believe that,'' says Arbaaz, ''I know that there is lot of expectations from the music and the composers have done a fabulous job. They grasped the core brief to the T and delivered in a major way.''
While 'Fevicol' and 'Pandeyji' have been spoken about for quite some time now, there is a new version of the title song which is expected to be another highlight of the music. Moreover, there are portions from the background score of DABANGG that would find place in the sequel as well.
With Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in lead and Vinod Khanna, Arbaaz Khan & Mahie Gill returning for the sequel, DABANGG 2 stars Prakash Raj as a baddie and releases all over on 21st December.
