It has been six months since the release of VICKY DONOR and it's lead Ayushmann Khurrana doesn't deny that right through this time period, there have been advices galore coming his way, what with anyone and everyone coming his way sharing a tip or two about surviving in Bollywood and making it big in the city of films and glamour.
"Of course duniya bhar ke advice aate hain, however you go with your intuition,'' smiles Ayushmann, "Yes, at times it becomes difficult to pick and choose. However, I have waited for four years before picking and choosing VICKY DONOR. Otherwise role toh pehle bhi aate they. Kabhi hero ke friend ka part aata tha, to kabhi main lead role aata tha, par script kuch khaas nahi thi. This is when VICKY DONOR came my way which was just perfect. If I get something that on paper itself which blows me away, I would be on for the film there and then."
Still, anyone else in his place would have pounced on many an offer that would have come his way after a 'superhit' beginning in the form of VICKY DONOR.
"I know, but then I should love doing a film even if it is just one or two in a year,'' he says, "A film should get the best out of me. If on going through the script itself I don't get the 'wow' factor then what's the point in even shooting for it?"
Hope his next release NAUTANKI SAALA indeed turns out to be that one film which gets a 'wow' reaction from audience as well.
