That is the latest score on both the UTV releases that have had a free run at box-office in the last few weeks. BARFI! is still going great guns and is certain to touch the 100 crore mark in the next few days, 2nd October being a holiday. What more can please the father of nation than a film on physically and mentally challenged people doing so well. So, now we have Ranbir Kapoor in the elite club too. It seems that 'aam janta' is not paying heed to the revelations of its plagiarized scenes. There are reports that Priyanka Chopra's stock and price have also gone up and she is charging 1 crore for a ramp walk and wowing the top line stars with her singing prowess as well. There is buzz of her joining the DABANGG 2 cast.
Ranbir's cousin and Priyanka's arch-rival Kareena Kapoor is not doing badly either. In spite of the cold critical reception her film HEROINE received, its worldwide collections are good and have touched the 40 crore mark. UTV is quite pleased with the figures, which is quite commendable for a heroine-oriented film.
