Here's presenting next 25 moments of reckoning of Amitabh Bachchan's films.
KASME VAADE, TRISHUL and DON
KASME VAADE: Again a film with double role by Big B, it has its moments of performance, however the scene where Big B in the second role meets Rakhee for the first time, and Rakhee mistakes him to be his lover, and the trigger of change that the character undergoes is one of the significant moments of the film.
TRISHUL: For TRISHUL the magic moment, the molten lava of simmering content that set the tone for the movie was the scene where he lights the dynamite through his cigarette and walks away from the scene without any fear was one of the most magic moments of Hindi cinema.
DON: DON again is a film that had its numerous scenes, however the scene where the character who is masquerading as DON comes to know that the only man who knows he is not DON is dead, a sense of abjectness that creeps in, in the character, is the scene for the film. Besides, of-course the dialogue- Don ko pakadne ke liye to 20 mulkon kee police dhoond rahe hai, par DON ko pakadna mushkil hee nahee namumkin hai.
MUQADDAR KA SIKANDER: Arguably one would say the scene where Kadar Khan asks Sikander to laugh is one of those moments, but arguably the finest scenes is where Big B and Amjad Khan have fight and where he tells Amjad that he never loved Rekha, but was always in love with Rakhee.
THE GREAT GAMBLER: In THE GREAT GAMBLER for once there would not be an element of debate that the best moment for the film was the song- DO lafjo kee hai dil kee kahani, which still is one of the best songs picturised on Big B and is indeed the finest scene of the film, as the backdrop of imposing waterfront indeed invokes romance..
