AGNEEPATH among other India based films at Tokyo Film Fest

Karan Malhotra directed and Karan Johar produced AGNEEPATH starring Rishi Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Hritik Roshan, and Priyanka Chopra will have a special screening at the 25th Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) along with the other hugely successful India based film THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL by John Madden, the director of SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, with dame Judi Dench in the lead.
TIFF line up also has a documentary titled HIMSELF HE COOKS (Natural TIFF supported by TOYOTA) directed by Vale'rie Berteau, and Philippe Witjes. The film is about the famous daily 'langar' at the Golden Temple, Amritsar, where hundreds of volunteers prepare 100,000 free meals every day.
As announced earlier, the 25th edition of the Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) competition line-up includes Anand Gandhi's debut film SHIP OF THESEUS as the lone Indian entry. The film has already had its world premiere at Toronto and is also in competition at the BFI London Film Festival this year.
The 25th TIFF will be held from October 20-28, 2012, at Roppongi Hills and other venues in Tokyo.
