The ace actor of Bollywood, Aamir Khan, the perfectionist, that he is known, is the only star to have a cent percent record at Box-office. He is truly unbeatable, inimitable and stands apart from the clutter yet the uncrowned king of Bollywood Aamir Khan, who's given numerous hits, superhits and blockbusters and who's come a long way, feels pressurized of people's heavy expectations.
"'The pressure will always be there. This is good that people expect more from me, but it is scary too. I make sure that the pressure doesn't come in my way of work," Aamir said in the presence of media at the recently held TALAASH - THE ANSWER LIES WITHIN music launch.
Ajay Devgn (SINGHAM), Salman Khan (DABANGG), Akshay Kumar (ROWDY RATHORE) may have charmed as police cops through their respective films in the past however Aamir doesn't feel the competition and says his character in TALAASH is quite different.
Aamir says, "I don't want to compete with anyone. Ajay, Salman and Akshay have played cops earlier but mine is a very different one. My character is struggling with his past. TALAASH is not an out-and-out entertainer like others yet I found it quite entertaining. Though my character is not that colourful like Chulbul Pandey, it was interesting to do."
Aamir did not have to do much of a research work as he has earlier also played a cop in the film SARFAROSH which was quite beneficial for him. "I did not have to prepare much for my role as I did that when I had played a cop in SARFAROSH," says Aamir.

When asked about Aamir's interference in the projects, TALAASH director Reema Kagti, who was also present at the music launch, was all parise for the actor, "Aamir has given a lot of creative inputs and I appreciate that. He has always been very respectful of my vision about the film. Rani and Kareena are more experienced than me and I am grateful that they let me direct them."
Aamir too praised working with Reema Kagti, "Reema is perceptive of performances. I was guided a lot by her. I saw her demanding as well as I could trust her instincts."
There were reports that earlier Shahrukh Khan was approached for the role. However, when the question was raised, Reema retorted at once, "I would not like to talk about things that did not work out. Moreover TALAASH has a dream cast. I think Aamir, Kareena and Rani are the best casting of this film."
However, Aamir looked quite amused and gave a weird expression. He says on a light note, "I am not aware about it. But from next time I'll keep a track on the films that were offered elsewhere before coming to me."
