This week on Bollywood Storytellers, the maverick director talks to Zoom about his desperation to be a part of Indian film industry and succeeding on his own terms. While his directorial debut PAANCH did not see the light of day, films like DEV D, GULAAL, BLACK FRIDAY and the GANGS OF WASSEYPUR series have cemented Anurag Kashyap as a storyteller with the power to excel in unconventional mainstream cinema.
Despite his initial struggles, Anurag did not bow down and conform to the verdict of the industry. He stuck to his guns and went about making movies that have come to define him.
