Ram Gopal Varma had been toying to make a film in 3D for quite some time. Remember an announcement that he had made around WARNING, a film with Riteish Deshmukh, three years ago? Well, even though that movie could never happen, he went ahead and roped in Manisha Koirala and Chakravarthy for BHOOT RETURNS and made it in 3D.
"And trust me; apart from the core content of BHOOT RETURNS, it is 3D which would simply blow you away. I am not assuming or thinking loud but saying this with 100% confidence since I have seen the results," says Chakravarthy, "The way Ram Gopal Varma has used the medium of 3D in this horror setup is so effective that you would freak out every 10 minutes."
The horror thriller with a child artist, Alayana Sharma as the central protagonist, is said to be so scary that during some internal preview screenings, the end product was hugely scaring even those who were associated with its making.
"When you work with a master craftsman like Ramuji, something like this is bound to happen," continues Chakravarthy, "Moreover, the whole setup of BHOOT RETURNS is so exciting. Of course everyone feels good about their films but trust me, amongst all the horror films that have come out of Bollywood so far, this one is indeed extra special. Ramu is a master of horror films and this one is a notch higher with ton loads of special effects which are visually stimulating and lead to adrenalin rush."
We are waiting to see that happening with our eyes when the film hits the screens this Friday.
