RAAZ 3 has released and as expected, it is Bipasha Basu's performance which is finding rave reviews coming its way. While the lady is indeed basking in all the glory, she isn't forgetting her director Vikram Bhatt. In fact she goes on to credit him for the fact that she is still working today and facing the camera in the world of glamour.
"When I started off in RAAZ and AJNABEE, I wasn't too sure where I was headed towards. I had entered movies also by default since I had got bored of modeling and didn't know what else to do in life. I did a couple of films and started thinking about 'what next'. Though Abbas-Mustan are the ones who got me first acceptance in the industry with AJNABEE, Vikram was the one who, after directing me in RAAZ, asked me to focus more on the acting career. He was a huge motivating factor," she says.
Though the duo went on to work together on FOOTPATH and AETBAAR as well, the magic of RAAZ went missing. However, Bipasha still has AETBAAR very close to her heart.
"It was quite a high point for me since I was playing Bachchan saab's daughter," Bipasha perks up here, "The film was good for me and Vikram gave me many interesting roles thereafter too. He knew the kind of roles where he could see me fitting in and offered me films before RAAZ 3 as well. However I couldn't do these films because sometimes howsoever you want or try, things do not fit in well. Thankfully we reunited with RAAZ 3."
Well, looking at the kind of response that this pairing is generating, don't be surprised if the director-actor 'jodi' is repeated in films to come as well.
