While one is looking forward to nothing but the best act from Kareena Kapoor in HEROINE, one can well expect that this Madhur Bhandarkar film may well have turned out to be an emotionally draining part of hers. However, the actress isn't playing by the cliches and refutes any such claims.
"I will tell you something honestly; when you are really longing to play a part and are so very excited to get in front of the camera and emote for it, you don't really get drained," says Kareena, "Yes, for those few minutes when you are mouthing your dialogues, you obviously go along with the character. However it isn't as if you sit over that emotion for hours in succession. You are so looking forward to the next scene that the switch on switch off happens rather fast."
She also goes on to add that while as a character Mahie Arora is way too extreme, in real life she is very sorted out that further helped her sustain a good balance.
"I am not someone like Mahie though I have to add that I could easily relate to the scenes as they take place in the film. I have given my 200% to the film and the kind of reactions that are coming have only reassured me that I have done something well," she smiles.
