Amongst the female entertainers from Bollywood Rani Mukerji certainly leads the pack! And this is evident from her latest song 'Dreamum Wakeupum Critical Conditnum' from her upcoming film AIYYAA.
However, Rani Mukerji's antics in the song quite reminds one of Vidya Balan from THE DIRTY PICTURE. The way Vidya jigged and moved in the song 'Oh La La Tu Hai Meri Fantasy', her garish outfits & make-up, her sensuous & naughty expressions, the huge set-up gets well reflected in AIYYAA's new song which features Rani.
Although the premise of both the movies and both the songs is altogether different but one can easily recall DIRTY PICTURE's Vidya seeing Rani. Nevertheless, Rani steals the show and looks entertaining with her amusing expressions and dance.
Besides, Rani the song also features south star Prithviraj which is yet another highlight of the song. His six-pack abs and dance moves certainly make you drool over! Rani and Prithviraj look amazing as dancing partners.
Not only the lyrics even the flashy visuals, the extravagant set up, the quirky choreography, the music of the song 'Dreamum Wakeupum Critical Conditnum' has the south flavor. The track is said to be a dream sequence.
AIYYAA is an upcoming film co-produced and written by Anurag Kashyap and directed by Sachin Kundalkar. Rani plays a Marathi mulgi who is in search of groom but falls in love with Malyali artist played by Prithiviraj. She is obsessed with films and quite a drama queen. It is a quirky and funny love story with the backdrop of a West-South cultural clash. Rani woos the stranger she desires as he smells good.
The lyrics of the songs are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music is scored by Amit Trivedi. The audio is on T-series. The film is produced by Viacom 18 and all set to hit the screens on 12th October 2012.
