'Daddy's lil girl' Priyanka Chopra waiting for her 'dulha' since age 4
September 14, 2012 11:52:15 AM IST By Rajesh Kumar Singh, Glamsham Editorial
This revelation came during the launch function of Priyanka Chopra's 'single' album IN MY CITY in Mumbai. She was replying to a question by a media person about what would she say to Kareena Kapoor who was expected to tie the marital knot with Saif Ali Khan in October, and if she also had plans for marriage. The 'daddy's lil girl' PC said that Saif and Kareena were a perfect couple and she was looking forward to seeing Kareena as a bride.
As far as her marriage plans are concerned, she has been ready for marriage since the age of four when she would wear those bridal attires worn by little girls. Her quest of a 'dulha' remains unfulfilled and that is the big technical issue. You cannot marry unless you get a suitable bridegroom and she has not found one so far.
Her father Dr. Ashok Chopra was seen waiving his hands in air when she said these words as if suggesting that the auspicious occasion would soon come in the life of his 'lil girl'. Her family and friends, including her octogenarian grandmother, were present in full strength at the function that marked her emergence as an International pop star and singing diva.
The album is brought out by Universal Music, and DesiHits, and produced by Interscope, and 2101, with Atom Factory as the talent manager. A truncated version of the single was launched at NFLN at the start of the National Football League (NFL) in the US on 13th September 2012, Thursday. It will be available on every distribution platform and retail outlet. Nokia India will provide exclusive download of IN MY CITY to its consumers on its online store. The song will also be part of the upcoming Blender's Pride Fashion Tour.
