The Kapoor khandan is ruling the box office roost. While HEROINE has opened well this Friday, BARFI! has collected 58 crores in its first week ending 20th September, 2012. The film has been wowing the family and multiplex audiences and as per the latest reports is doing well this Friday as well. It will be the preferred choice of family audiences since HEROINE is an adult film. HEROINE's Friday business may touch 12 crores and more if we go by the initial box office response. What more, both the films occupy more than 3000 screens with almost no drop in the number of BARFI shows.
The UTV-Disney is all set to have two back-to-back box office hits since both the films are also produced and distributed by UTV-Disney. It also proves true one of the statements of Kareena Kapoor that the Kapoors will rule the box office. This is a record of some sort when two films, both with members of the Kapoor khandan leading the cast, have done so well one after another.
